Shard Studio

After working on the map and other SVG jigsaw puzzle solver (called Jigsaw Solver), I worked with AI to modify the concept slightly to allow the user to input their own raster image (e.g. photo) and have the app apply a shard-like puzzle piece pattern to it, then scramble the pieces, and reassemble the puzzle like in the Jigsaw Solver app. The eventual intention is for an app which takes in a photo and turns it into either a physical or screen version of a jigsaw puzzle, with interlocking pieces, and the ability to interactively solve it on screen, or laser cut the pieces and have a real physical jigsaw puzzle. This way, anyone can make their own jigsaw puzzle out of any photo. Since the app has frames other than rectangular, the puzzles made can be cut into circles, stars, even dog bodies! Leveraging code from the Jigsaw Solver, this app is amazingly fast and fun!
