Take Sides Solver

There's a great website called dcode.fr that uses mostly brute force computer methods to search and solve multi-solution problems, and it was the inspiration for this Take Sides solver, as this dice game (see above) has multiple solutions (sometimes hundreds!) for most possible dice rolls. You can input your dice roll and hit Solve, and the solver will display the solutions as unique values for each equation side and the actual equations. Use this solver to make the Take Sides game more interesting – for instance, you can ask game participants to solve the roll for a specific value for each side of the equation, or just see how long the players can keep the roll going before running out of possible solutions. It's also possible to input more or less than 5 numbers, extending the game to different amounts of dice. Clicking on any of the unique values in the displayed list gives you the valid equations for that value. It's a cool tool to play with even if you're not playing Take Sides!
